As an american (with native american ancestors) living in New Zealand it is fantastic to see that NZ as a country has made it a point to embrace the M
āori culture as a part of the nations total image. From the national anthem being in both English and Māori to the Haka performed by the All Blacks before each match this is one of my favorite aspects of New Zealand. Kiwi's should always be proud of the Haka regardless of a person's skin color as
it is a part of everyones heritage here in NZ.

I was making a generic comment about why I enjoy life in New Zealand, and how impressive it is to see the spirit of the countries native people alive and well today unlike back home where the native american culture is but a whisper or a shadow of what it once was.
